PRESERVATION

The Provolone Valpadana cheese is considered a “live” food, that can be transformed over the time and therefore it is necessary to follow these simple rules:

  • Keep it in the fridge in the least cold part of it, that is, at the bottom of the fridge;
  • Always cover the part of Provolone Valpadana cut with a plastic wrap or with a foil;
  • Wrap it in a paper or in a cloth to protect it from the light and put it in a plastic bag, on which some holes have been made;
  • Avoid the direct contact between different cheeses. It is preferable to take it out of the fridge one hour before serving it.
